Of course, the problem may be with the other person, their hardware, or even the Hangouts application. Here is my fix for the mic problem I had till a few hours ago (mic not working while changing to speaker mode in a call), maybe Im the only G5 owner that had this problem, but still somebody could have it too, the fix is shown in the screenshot.
